Follow the steps below to set up Outlook 2002 to send and receive email.
1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
2. From the Tools menu, choose E-Mail Accounts.
3. Select Add a new e-mail account.
4. Click the Next button.
5. Select POP3.
6. Click the Next button.
7. In the Your Name field, type your name.
8. In the E-mail Address field, type your full AirCanopy email address (e.g., joeuser@aircanopy.net).
9. In the Incoming mail server (POP3) field type mail.aircanopy.net.
10. In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field type smtp.aircanopy.net.
11. In the User Name field, type your username 'joeuser' .
12. In the Password field, type your email password.
13. Click the More Settings button.
14. Click on the Outgoing Server tab.
15. Check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
16. Select Log on using.
17. In the User Name field, type your AirCanopy account name as shown below.
18. In the Password field, type your password.
19. Check the boxes next to Remember password and My server requires authentication.
20. Click the OK button.
21. Click the Next button.
22. Click the Finish button.
