Change Your Password

To set up your e-mail account you must follow the steps listed below. Please either print this page or open a second Internet window to follow the steps in.

1. Access the mail server by clicking the 'Mail' link in the top right corner of our home page.

2. At the login screen enter your username that you selected followed by the default password. The login screen looks like the image below. Your username is your email address without the added '@aircanopy.net'. If you do not know your password, please call the office for a password reset. HTTP Compression and Auto Login are optional and the defaults are acceptable.

3. Next change the default password to something that is easy for only you to remember. Click the Preferences button that is along the toolbar like the one below.

4. Next click the Change Password button.

5. In the 'Old Password' box enter the default password: mailbox. Enter your new password twice in the appropriate boxes. Your new password must contain at least one letter, one number, and be at least 6 characters long. Click the change password button.

6. Click the Back to Preferences button, followed by the back button that appears in the top left.

8. The current window is your inbox. New items will appear on your screen and you may view them by clicking on the ‘Subject’ column. You send a reply to the sender's address by clicking on the ‘Sender’ column. Once you are finished with a message you may select the check box and then click the ‘To Trash’ button to delete.
